Getting Started
What is Aviha?
Aviha is an AI-powered home assistant. You tell it what you need — “fix my microwave,” “pick up dry-cleaning,” “get groceries from the market” — and we coordinate trusted professionals to get it done. You can type, speak, or attach a photo of the problem.
Where can I download the app?
Aviha is available on the Apple App Store for iPhone. Search for “Aviha” or visit our website at aviha.ai for the direct link.
What devices and OS versions are supported?
Aviha works on iPhones running iOS 15 or later. We recommend keeping the app updated to the latest version for the best experience.
Which cities is Aviha available in?
We are currently rolling out city by city. After you sign up, the app will let you know whether your neighborhood is in our active service area. If not, you can still join the waitlist and we'll notify you the moment we go live near you.
Account & Login
How do I create an account?
Open the app, enter your phone number, and verify with the OTP we send via SMS or WhatsApp. Once verified, you'll be guided through a quick onboarding to tell us your name and try your first task.
I'm not receiving the OTP. What should I do?
- Check that the phone number was entered correctly with the +91 prefix.
- Try the WhatsApp OTP option if SMS isn't arriving.
- Make sure you have an active internet connection.
- Wait for the timer to finish, then tap “Resend OTP.”
- If the issue persists, write to hello@aviha.aiwith your phone number and we'll help.
Can I change my phone number?
Phone number changes are handled manually for security reasons. Please email hello@aviha.ai from a verified contact and we will assist.
How do I log out?
Tap your profile picture on the top-left of the Home tab to open the profile drawer. The Logout option is at the bottom.
Creating & Managing Requests
How do I create a request?
On the Home tab, tap the input box and describe what you need. You can:
- Type your request in plain language.
- Use voice — tap the mic and speak naturally.
- Attach photos (up to a few per message) so the agent we send has full context.
- Pick a suggested prompt from “Discover Services.”
Once submitted, Aviha analyzes the request, asks any follow-up questions, and starts coordinating fulfillment.
What kinds of tasks can Aviha handle?
- Repairs: Kitchen appliances, AC and geyser, fridge, OTG, utensils and more.
- Laundry: Clothes, carpets and curtains, shoes, blazers and dresses.
- Ghar Ka Chotu errands: Market groceries, nursery plants, pharmacy meds, pickup and drop.
- Anything else:If it's a reasonable household task, just ask. Aviha will tell you if it can't be fulfilled.
Where do I see ongoing requests?
The Home tab shows your “Upcoming Requests” section. Tapping a request opens its detail sheet with status, messages from the agent, and any payment that's due.
How do I pay for a service?
When a service is ready to be paid for, the request card on Home will show a Pay button. Tap it to open the request detail and complete payment securely inside the app.
Can I cancel a request?
Yes. Open the request from the Home tab and use the cancel option in the detail sheet. If the agent has already begun work, cancellation terms in our Terms & Conditions apply.
My House
What is the My House tab for?
My House is where Aviha remembers things about you so you don't have to repeat yourself. It has two parts:
- What Aviha Knows:Saved preferences and instructions (e.g., “I prefer evening slots,” “always use the back gate”).
- My Addresses: Saved addresses for your home, office, or other regular drop-off and pickup points.
How do I add or edit an address?
Open the My House tab, scroll to “My Addresses,” and tap to add a new one or edit an existing entry. Addresses are used automatically when relevant to a task.
How do I save a preference?
You can either ask Aviha directly (“remember that I prefer weekend slots”) or open the My House tab and add it under saved instructions.
Notifications
How will I get updates on my requests?
You'll receive in-app and push notifications when an agent is assigned, when payment is due, when a service is completed, and for any OTPs the agent needs to share with you. The bell icon on the Home tab also shows unread alerts.
I'm not receiving notifications. What should I check?
- Open iOS Settings → Notifications → Aviha and ensure notifications are allowed.
- Make sure Do Not Disturb / Focus modes aren't silencing the app.
- Confirm the app has background data and isn't being throttled by Low Power Mode.
Privacy & Data
Is my data private?
Yes. Your information is used to fulfill your requests and improve the service. Authorized Aviha team members may view non-anonymized data to assist with complex tasks. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Are my photos and voice recordings stored?
Photos you attach to a request are stored so the assigned agent has context for the job. Voice inputs are transcribed for processing. You can request deletion at any time by writing to hello@aviha.ai.
How do I delete my account?
You can request account deletion from inside the app, or visit the account removal page. We'll process the request within the timeframe specified in our Privacy Policy.
Troubleshooting
The app is stuck or crashing. What should I do?
- Force-quit the app and reopen it.
- Check the App Store for an update — we ship fixes often.
- Restart your phone.
- If it still doesn't work, email hello@aviha.ai with your phone number, iPhone model, iOS version, and a brief description of what happened.
I see “You're offline.” What does that mean?
Aviha needs an internet connection to load addresses, preferences, and request status. Reconnect to Wi-Fi or mobile data and the app will refresh automatically.
The app is asking me to update. Why?
We occasionally require an update to ensure security and continued service. Tap the update prompt to be taken straight to the App Store.
